Daylight and colour unite in this remodeling of a Victorian terrace property in North London. The brief called for a unique layout to maximise the use of space on the ground floor and provide openness and transparency to the garden beyond.

This was achieved by locating the utility and kitchen at the heart of the home and constructing an elegant glazed side / rear extension. Large rooflights allow daylight to flood into the internal spaces whilst the changes in level are carefully arranged to allow a seamless flow through the property.

The upper floors of the house have been fully refurbished and a new dormer extension erected over the rear roof slope. Large windows provide spectacular views to North London from the upper levels.
